Okay, I watched the whole damn thing (the youtube you sent us to) waiting for the punch line. I am so sick of the lying cheating politicians, I am NOT voting in the election this year (except at the very local level where I can talk personally to and look them in the eye before and after I have voted. And this is after years of volunteering, registering voters and pumping up others (always ragged on my staff -”come on, get registered, go vote, it’s important, etc.”.
But I cannot do it any more. The Dems and GOP are the same. They are no different. Obama is change you can trust -oh please. McCain the maverick-oh yeah! This whole bailout illustrates my point completely. The country is run by and for special interests.
I was heartened to see the Bailout fail on the 1st vote at the House, but sickened to see the “new improved” Senate version with TONS more pork spending added to it, and this is what is supposed to make it more palatable? I get it, but they sure don’t and I don’t care what you say -MY VOTE DOESN’T COUNT and NEITHER DOES YOURS! They got it all planned out what they’re gonna do with that 700 B$ and paying themselves and their friends at the taxpayers expense is first.
I agree the thing needs fixing, but this is not the way to do it.

Another apathetic voter. Jut what the country needs. One of these candidates is going to get elected and then all those with a paranoid attitude like that above will be screaming bloody murder and whining until the next election that they’ll not participate in.
