“Aloha Oe” In loving memory of Uncle Gary Wagner
Well a great , long time resident of Puako has passed away. We had such a beautiful service last Sunday with help from the whole community of Puako. We appreciate Guy Startsman allowing the use of his ocean front home Hale Lihi Kai. Of course we appreciate the return guests that allowed for this very special service even though they were on their winter vacation. It all came together with ease and it really was a celebratory occasion.

Successful is the man… who has lived well , laughed often, and loved deeply, who has won the respect of intelligent people and earned the appreciation of honest critics, who leaves the world better whether by a healthy child, or a perfect poem, who has never lacked awareness of earth’s beauty or failed to express it; who looked for the best in others and gave the best he had to know even one life has breathed easier because he has lived…. This is to have succeeded. “Goodbye…Aloha!” He will be very missed.
