ALOHA SCUBA DIVERS! THIS WAS THE BIG ONE, that’s right a smallish Whale Shark appeared today in Big Island waters just off Koloko! I’ve been promised a small video clip to follow soon.

THAT’S RIGHT, AFTER WAITING more than 15 years to get my first glimpse of a Whale Shark, I missed one again today. My husband and Bruce Malasky, most of the JDL staff and the other diver’s who were lucky enough to have reservations on the dive boats today, spent time in the water with a gentle giant of the ocean. For non-divers who aren’t familiar with this huge animal, tomorrow we should have photos on line.

TOMORROW IS MY DIVE DAY the water is getting nice and warm. I am looking forward to some nice long dives and a Whale Shark visit during the surface interval.
