HAWAIIAN REALTORS – Code of Ethics

Realtor Logo NOT ALL REAL ESTATE AGENTS ARE REALTORS but all Realtors subscribe to the National Association of Realtors Code of Ethics. A person of good character who passes an accredited real estate sales persons course can apply to the state of Hawaii to take a test. Passing the state and national standards, may allow that person to be awarded a license to practice real estate under the guidance of a Licensed Broker. That makes him or her a Real Estate Agent.

IF THE BROKER IS A REALTOR, a member of the National Association of Realtors, all agents who work for that broker are required to join as Realtor Associates. Both Realtors and Realtor Associates subscribe to the same Code of Ethics you’ve heard so much about. Shall we look at an abbreviated form of that Code?
