The affordable home program the builder is working under calls for a deed restriction that caps the profit a homeowner may make on the sale of one of these condos for the first 10 years. During that time, we were told, you can sell them for costs + the cost of any capital improvement + the accumulated annual cost of living increases. Still much better than you will realize when you reach the end of a rental lease – don’t you agree?
