DIVE DAY BLUES –
A BAD COLD has kept me out of the water for almost two weeks now. The Na Pali Kai left the dock at Honokohau Harbor this morning for a two tank trip without me. My friends who promised to find only rocks and rubble claim to have seen a Sand Bar Shark at the Green Buoy as they descended for their first dive. The group I usually dive with are all advanced divers using NITROX. They moved away from the shore to a depth of around 110ft where they found a Leaf Scorpion Fish and a pair of Cleaner Shrimp. I’ve heard stories of crabs, octopus and dolphin. I am waiting to see photos to prove they saw anything but rocks and rubble.
VISIT OUR CLEAR BLUE WATERS and you will see how easy it is for a diver to fall in love with Kona. Please let me know if I can supply information or suggestions to help you plan your visit. See you on the boat!
