The good news is relocating with your furry friends here to the Kona Coast of Hawaii is not as difficult as one may think. Granted we are the most isolated place on the planet, but thats the way I personally like it! Do you homework and you will discover relocating with your furry family is not so bad after all. There are great choices of properties available in First Class, Business or Economy something special to make everyone in the family feel right at home. The State of Hawaii has created an awesome checklist for prior arrival preparation and regulations, accommodating airline transportation available, an array of well appointed property locations, triple fun things to do with you and your furry friend makes being here in paradise just that much better everyday! There are pet friendly condo’s (187 current listings) along with gated residential properties that also accept pets with board approval. Keep in mind when you are searching for your next home ask what restrictions may exist regarding our furry friends? You and your furry friends certainly dont want to be caught with any unexpected surprises. My home in Kona at about the 700 foot elevation. Our daily temperature’s are comfortable with ideal cool evenings. Elevation and climate are important to keep in mind because the temperatures rise considerably in certain times of the year. Another point to keep in mind is any property below the Queen Kaahumanu Hwy or makai side of the hwy can be a bit warmer.

Originally from Oahu I relocated here 6 years ago and love living on the Kona Coast. At the time I relocated with my dog Konagirl from the West Coast and the travel went smooth for her and I.
