Get a jump start on 2014 and review the Hawaii State market statistics for the month ending December 2013. Its all here including residential, commercial, lender, and distressed property reports. There has been an estimated 13%-20% increase in price appreciation since this same time last year. The escrows counts are not as high as this time last year and our inventory levels have remained low as well. Economic forecasters have mentioned a possible, “up to 1% increase” in a borrowers interest rate over the year but we will just have to wait and see how that plays out.
