Kelly hails from Vancouver, British Columbia. After living several years in Dana Point, California, Kelly, her husband Mike and their son Cody relocated to Kauai where they now reside in their home in Kekaha. “We were looking for a wholesome environment to raise our son and we saw Kauai as an ideal place.” With Makai Properties since 1994, Kelly spear-headed the first real estate office on Kauai’s west side with the opening of Makai Properties’ in Waimea. When not working, Kelly can be found helping her husband with restoration projects. “We find old homes from the 1930s and ’40s and bring them back to life”. Kelly is a board member of the Kauai Veteren’s Memorial Hospital Charitable Foundation, the Westside Community Development Corp. and the unofficial neigbhood wildlife refuge. “Every bird that falls out of a nest gets delivered to our house”.
