Kauai New Real Estate Development

Canadian by birth, Roberta arrived on Kauai in 1972 and has been a full-time realtor with Makai Properties since 1983, with a two-year hiatus in sales to serve with the County of Kauai as a Real Estate Consultant to the Office of Elderly Affairs following the hurricane in 1992.

Roberta is the single Mom of three adult sons Echo, Jade and Kenyatta who were all born and raised here in Koloa. Roberta began her real estate career with Makai Properties and in 2005, she became a co-owner upon the retirement of its founding broker, Bob Keown.

Over so many years on Kauai she has served her community in many ways: past vice president of Kauai High School Football Boosters, University of Hawaii Football Boosters and board member with the Kauai Board of Realtors in several capacities. She is a current member of the Rotay Club of Poipu Beach, working primarily as a fundraiser during their annual wine tasting event. She also serves on the Board of Directors of Hawaii Information Service, the MLS Provider for the outer islands.
