Koloa Landing at Poipu Beach Sells $76 Million in Luxury Real Estate During October 27 Sales Event – 51 Properties Sold at Average Price of $1.5 Million
KAUAI, Hawaii–(BUSINESS WIRE)–S&P Destination Properties, a world leader in the resort and luxury real estate business, sold $76 million of the Phase 1 luxury properties offered at Koloa Landing at Poipu Beach on Saturday, October 27. A total of 51 two-, three- and four-bedroom luxury condominium homes were sold at an average price of $1.5 million, drawing buyers from Hawaii, California, Utah and other states as well as western Canada.
“Our results are a clear indication that while many segments of the real estate market are in flux, affluent customers are still seeking thoughtfully planned, high-end real estate with numerous resort amenities that meet their interests and lifestyle,” said Kent England, President of Poipu Beach Villas, LLC, developer of Koloa Landing. “We’re very pleased with the results, as it enables our group to commence construction of these buildings in early 2008 and look forward to delivering a world-class development for owners and guests to enjoy.”
Koloa Landing is a 25 acre luxury residential resort development located on the southern tip of Kauai at Poipu Beach. It is the first major oceanside real estate development since 1990, and features the most extensive pool and outdoor amenities on the island of Kauai.
