Koloa Landing hosts their first broker event

Filed under: Updates — Roberta @ 8:30 am

The best way to get anyone to look at your project these days is offer free food and good wine! S&P Marketing did both along with entertainment last Tuesday at their new sales center. It is a great ocean view site where they plan to build 300 condominium apartments offered between $900k and $3 million. The developer group has been led so far by a few members of the same group who did two different smaller projects at the east end of Poipu, recognized for big interior spaces lavish appointments and lots of living room. These layouts reflect the same stategy only kicked up another notch. The penthouse units, which there are only half a dozen (or so) are running around 4000 feet. Views will be oriented toward the ocean over top and between the row of residences fronting Hoonani Road with two coastal accesses between homes at each end. The Dust Hotline catches fire!

Filed under: Updates — Roberta @ 12:15 pm

I was going to the north shore today to get an update on development out there but it seems the Hawaiian media eyes are on Poipu. After a meeting of the Koloa Community Association we have been reminded that with new development also comes great disruption of life to everyone in the area. Waikomo Stream Villas is all but surrounded right now with blasting and the messiest part of any construction project…the site work and new roads. Let us hope that all those involved will be as responsive as Dick Holtzman of Kukui’ula Development and Jim Peterson of Wainani at Kiahuna. They both must be commended for setting up a repsonse process well before they even started the work. Their hotlines have been ready to field everything from concern to absolute rage from callers wanting to let someone know just how miserable life has been living close to their project sites. There’s no stopping the work in process but life will be much better for everyone in the meantime if we can just feel like those responsible want to make ammends and address the problems they are creating. Dick, Jim thanks for not hiding from the heat!
