Aloha and welcome! I am pleased to participate in this real estate blog covering all the news and latest information regarding new projects proposed planned or underway on the island. There is literally something new on every side of the island over the past few years. As our real estate market heated up demand grew by leaps and bounds. As a result many of the parcels that have been zoned for development have passed into the hands of developers. The process whereby all these projects come to the marketplace is long and complex and each area of the island has their own unique set of challenges. At Makai Properties, we work to keep up to date on all new development islandwide. My intention with this blog is to offer a quick snapshot as these things unfold over time.
