$1 Million+ Home Sales in Kai Ikena!

2007 saw the sale of two homes at over $1,000,000 in our neighborhood!

These were not your average home built in 1989, but newer, larger homes in the neighborhood. Still, this bodes well for the neighborhood holding it’s value against the newer, and some say,”more desirable” neighborhood of Kakela Makai Oceanview Subdivision. In 2006, there were two other sales in the neighborhood in the range of, and over, $1,000,000, bringing the total sales at $1,000,000+ to four.

Recent activity has seen a home on Panui that was listed at $1,290,000 and also a lot on Pai Street that was listed at $399,000 go under contract. It looks like the $1 million trend is continuing.

In 2007, there were 9 homes sales with an average selling price of $825,944. Currently, there are 5 homes actively on the market with an average asking price of $839,400.

There were and no lot sales in 2007. The last lot sale was in August of 2005 at a price of $315,000. As of now, there are 3 lots actively for sale in the neighborhood with an average asking price of $366,334. The neighborhood has almost reached complete “build out”.
