Coming up soon is the First Annual Kauai Marathon. It will take place on September 6th in Poipu on the South Shore of the island.  There will be lots of post race activities and there will be a half and a whole marathon course.  If you are on island, come cheer these fierce competitors on (this will be my first half marathon) and enjoy the festivities.

And if you are looking for a lovely home with Italian flair under the Kauai sun, you must view Hale Tuscana.  With excellent owner financing available, this four bedroom, three and one half bath home sits on over a quarter acre within the resort community of Princeville.  Princeville is located on the North Shore of Kauai and is the home of the newest addition to the St. Regis family of hotels.  This home is conveniently located to shopping, and restaurants and the new five star St. Regis hotel opening this October.

This extraordinary Tuscan style family home is 50 yards from the most coveted bluff in Princeville, famous for the nesting Albatross. Custom features include Italian fountains, tapestries, a shaded pergola and large sun deck for outdoor dining. The level parcel is perfect for a pool and graced with over 20 fruit trees including avocado, papaya, guava, banana, lemon and lime. There are stunning, walnut finished Ipe floors throughout the great room, guest bedrooms and master suite. The Tuscan style kitchen offers custom hand rubbed gold kitchen cabinets, Santa Lucia granite counter tops and an 8’ dining bar. Top of the line appliances include a duel fuel, 2-oven range and Sub-Zero with customized Tuscan gold front panel. From the master suite and private 280’ dining lanai you can enjoy views of the Hanalei Mountains, waterfalls and gardens. The Master Suite is designed for the spa experience with a two person Jacuzzi, large tiled shower and organized walk-in closet. The ground floor level features a custom entertainment area with Bose surround sound, wet bar, 2 built-in 50-bottle wine coolers and a private garden view bedroom.
The home is in move-in condition and beautifully furnished. For those beach days or just cruzin around town there is an island style Grand Cherokee and a grandfathered vintage golf cart included in the sale.

If this sounds like heaven in paradise for you, please give me a call today.

This past Saturday, the Real Estate Community came together for the Kauai Board of Realtor’s Rock and Bowl Fundraiser.  The funds raised in this wonderful event will go towards the scholarship program aimed to help the students of Kauai with their continuing education.

The turn out to this event was phenomenal and everyone had a great time.  Our company, Coldwell Banker Bali Hai Realty, Inc. sponsored two lanes.  One of the lanes was aimed for the adults and the other was for the keiki to bowl.  You did not have to be a great bowler, you just needed to let loose and have fun.  There was a silent auction with a lot of great items donated by various businesses around the island.  There was great food, fun music, and everyone had a blast!

The Kauai Board of Realtors surpassed their goal in this fundraiser and hopefully, they will do it again next year!

Now for some business news; I have a great listing in Kalihiwai right across from Kalihiwai Bay that has just had a price reduction.  This lovely two bedroom, two bath beach home is now priced at $1,450,000.  This home has ocean views and is tucked back into a little piece of paradise that needs to be seen to be truly appreciated.  If you are interested in this home, or any of my other spectacular listings, please give me a call.
