Hanalei Happenings June 16, 2009
Posted by Sarah in : Updates , trackbackSaturday, June 6th, the Hanalei Canoe Club sponsored their annual Haena to Hanalei 8 Mile Run/Walk on the island of Kauai. This event helps raise funds for the Canoe Club’s Youth Program. The event was a big success with over 250 participants. It started at 7:00 am with a gorgeous morning on the North Shore of Kauai.
I was able to knock 16 minutes off of my time and Kahea Zietz, the Property Manager for Coldwell Banker Bali Hai Realty, Inc, came in 3rd for her division ~ Congrats Kahea!! The overall results were Nic Clark for the Men and Elizabeth Leonard for the Women. Everyone had a great time at this worth while event and my heartfelt congratulation goes out to all the participants.
