Posted by Sarah in : Updates , add a commentThat is exactly what Dr. Becky Rhoades did at the Mortgage Burning Celebration that took place November 20, 2008. Dr. Rhoades and her staff head up the Kauai Humane Society. Through their hard work and the donations from private parties, they were able to pay off the mortgage for their new facility in six years. That is quite an accomplishment when you think that they did this purely with private donations; no government funds were used. It was a lovely way for the Kauai Humane Society to say, “Mahalo” to all their private donors. And to continue with the positive spin on real estate on Kauai, I represented the buyers who purchased their retirement home in Haena, close to the beach just last week. And next week, I will be closing on another beautiful Hanalei home setting a record for the price range in this area. Give me a call!
