Life Lessons June 24, 2008
Posted by Sarah in : Updates , add a commentEvery single day is a gift and a blessing. This lesson has been brought forth recently with the passing of a dear friend of mine and with the passing of our honorable Mayor, Bryan Baptiste.
My friend was only 68 when he succumbed to a heart attack last week, but he was smart and did not wait when he was younger to begin his dream of living in paradise. He moved forward towards his dream and was actually living on Oahu before his untimely demise.
This is a life lesson for everyone! Do not wait until you experience a death to begin living “your” life. Live the life you want in the place you have dreamed of…like Kauai. Now is the time to make your move if the Kauai Lifestyle is your dream!
Kukui’ula Located on Kauai’s South Shore June 13, 2008
Posted by Sarah in : Updates , add a commentI am pleased to announce that I am now a Kukui’ula Specialist. Coldwell Banker Bali Hai Realty, Inc. and Kukui’ula have formed an alliance and are committed to community and the Kauai lifestyle. The entire project covers over 1,000 acres with approximately 15 miles of hiking and biking trails. The project will be set up so that when you stroll these lovely grounds, you will actually be going from garden to garden. There will be lakes and an organic farm and the best thing is that the developers are committed to being as “Green” as they can be during this development. There will be a commercial center with local businesses located in it. And for you golf enthusiasts, there will be a Tom Weiskopt designed golf course where every hole will be based on some type of Kauai agriculture. As a Kukui’ula Specialist, we are also committed to giving our clients a five star experience. Call me today for more information on this exclusive development.
Who’s Who in Hawaii Real Estate June 9, 2008
Posted by Sarah in : Updates , add a commentLast week I attended the Who’s Who in Hawaii Real Estate banquet on Oahu. My Coldwell Banker Premier Team Partner, Barbara L. Sloan and I were honored by being recognized as the number one and two top Realtors on the island of Kauai respectively for the year of 2007. It was a fun event and it was truly wonderful to be recognized by our peers for our hard work throughout the past year.
Another event that I attended on Sunday was the annual Haena to Hanalei Run/Walk. This event is an annual fundraiser for the Hanalei Civic Canoe Club. The monies go to primarily fund their youth program. You can walk, run or even ride a bike for this fundraiser. I was able to walk the eight miles with my fellow Realtor and friend, Ruth S. Marvin, in two hours. At the end there is a pancake breakfast for the participants, as well as for the public. There are people from all over that fly out here just for this event every year. It is a fantastic way to support the Hanalei Civic Canoe Club.
