Posted by Sarah in : Updates , add a commentEach and every one of us leaves a Carbon Footprint on this Earth. Here are just a few ways we can reduce our Co2 Footprint and help heal this planet.
1. For those who live in cooler climates, simply turn down your thermostat by 2 degrees.
2. Only run your dishwasher when full and run it on its energy efficient mode.
3. Wash cloths in cold water.
4. Dry half your clothes on a clothesline or on a drying rack.
5. Insulate your water heater.
6. Keep the tires on your cars properly inflated. This will also save on gas mileage.
7. Plug your electronics into a power strip and turn the strip off when not in use.
8. Caulk and weather-strip your home.
9. Clean your refrigerator’s coils and defrost regularly.
10. Replace your incandescent light bulbs with compact fluorescent light bulbs.
