If you lived in this neighborhood, you would be a short drive to many great beaches (Kua Bay, Kukio, and Pine Trees are very close, and Hapuna and Mauna Kea are just a little farther away).

This is a good location if part of your family needs to drive to Waikoloa or Waimea, and part needs to drive to Kona, as it is convenient both ways. Also, it is very close to the airport, in case you are traveling or picking up visitors. For golfers, from here it is easy to get to several of our famous golf courses including the ones at the Mauna Lani, Mauna Kea, Hapuna, Waikoloa Beach Resort, Makalei, and Waikoloa Village. If you drive the other way, through Kailua Kona, you can go golf at the Kona Country Club.
