Just a Friendly Reminder…

Hawaii Information Service The assessment values and annual tax information for the fiscal year from 7/1/2009 to 6/30/2010 has been updated in the REsearch TMK database, however, it was not done in the MLS database so as not to alter your listings without consent.

Important: To ensure that your listings are up to date, please make sure to check the TMK records for the revised assessment value and annual tax information and make any necessary changes.

REsearch 4.2 Beta
Your Participation and Feedback is Important To Us! 
 
 
We are now commencing our public beta testing period for REsearch 4.2 and would like for you to please join us in testing it out!  This is a public Beta to encourage all of our members and customers to learn by doing.  To do so, follow these quick steps.
 
1. Visit http://webre2.hawaiiinformation.com/REsearchBeta/HIS/ and go for it!
 
2. Please remember that the Beta site is LIVE, so any changes you make to your listings will appear on the current/existing and beta site.

3. E-mail any questions/feedback to erin@alohaliving.com so that we can make note of your thoughts and suggestions as we make tweaks/additions to 4.2 and later versions.  If you want to submit comments and or questions anonymously, simply print them out and either fax or mail them to me at the number/address, or you can leave an anonymous comment on our 4.2 Beta blog at the address below.
 
4. Visit http://blogs.alohaliving.com/beta  to see posts of your feedback and answers to your questions.  If you have a question I suggest visiting the blog first to see if it has already been addressed.

We can already see it – 2009 is going to be an incredible year!  Mark your calendars for February, when we will be unveiling several new and wonderful upgrades for REsearch that we have been working tirelessly on, just for you.

Over the next month or so we will be sharing sneak-peeks of the various features and upgrades that will be included in 4.2.  We will also be holding a series of in-person demonstrations as well as Webinars both before and after the release for anyone interested in learning more.

And since you have all been so good this year, we wanted to wish you Happy Holiday’s by announcing that, yes, finally, the floor plan and plot plans for condominiums throughout Hawaii will soon be available online.  With the click of your mouse, you will be able to search for, browse, and download floor and plot plans for 2,200+ condo projects throughout the islands–a bank of over 10,000 drawings!

The changes in 4.2 will vary slightly depending on which services you use.

If you are a Member of HIS or an MLS of Choice customer, here are a few of the updates and upgrades you can expect to find in the new version of 4.2:

• Fresh Perspective: Enhanced REVO!
• Map It: Condo floor plans and plot plans will soon be available online!
• Industry Leading: Personalize your searches by dragging and dropping your favorite/most used fields — a level of customization offered by NO OTHER MLS company in the nation.
• Added Value: Calculators, calculators and more calculators!

If you are a TMK Customer, here are a few of the upgrades and updates you can expect to find in the new version of 4.2:

• Map It: Condo floor plans and plot plans will soon be available online!
• Simplify your life: Search with greater ease and options.
