Updates on IE8 and Security Settings
REsearch August 12th, 2009Please make note of the following changes that have occurred in regards to the compatibility with Internet Explorer 8 as well as with the security settings within REsearch, and make any necessary changes using the instructions below.
- For smooth operation of IE8 with REsearch, you must make sure that the Compatibility View is enabled. For instructions on how to do this, please refer to the guide in REsearch’s help menu, which can be accessed by Members by clicking on the following link: http://web004.hawaiiinformation.com/absolutehelp/?f=549
- REsearch was updated last week and it seems that in the process, the security settings were reset and as a result some users are experiencing problems when attempting to email or use forms. To fix this you will need to add Hawaii information as a trusted site in your security settings. For help on how to do this, please refer to the REsearch help guide which will walk you through the process.
