Sometimes when you are busy you focus on what is in front of you and not what might be on the horizon. As a B&B owner it is important that you have standards and procedures in place that you can delegate to helpers or follow mindlessly to get the task accomplished with the same panache and consistency that you desire. I suggest that you look at your pantry and household needs and establish a par stock. The inventory will tell you what you have on hand and what you will need to order. Often times a property can produce revenue to cover expenses. It can not be assumed that a property will “pay for itself” I can say that when approached with a solid business plan and multiple revenue streams i.e. coffee, internet business and B&B accomodations as this property has it could provide the additional income to support the project.

The question is more then would the property support itself? the question would be the would the potential buyers be prepared to support it at times when or if “things” happen.
